Your chart is unique

Your birth chart is a precise astronomical snapshot of the sky at the exact moment and location of your birth. We calculate this with the same precision used by professional Jyotishis — accounting for the difference between the Western and Vedic zodiac systems.

Birth time matters. The ascendant — the most important point in your chart — changes every two hours. If you know your exact birth time, your reading will be significantly more precise. If you don't, we work with what you have.

Common questions

Is this the same as a generic sun sign horoscope?
No. Sun sign horoscopes give the same reading to everyone born in a 30-day window — roughly 1/12th of the world's population. Your JyotishAI reading is based on your exact birth chart, which is unique to you.
Do I need to know my exact birth time?
It helps significantly. The ascendant changes every two hours, and it affects which house every planet falls in. If you have your birth certificate handy, use that time. If not, enter your best approximation — we will note the uncertainty in your reading.
How is this different from consulting a human astrologer?
